The new, independently run, old and rare spirits consultancy, offering a suite of customised services has arrived. 

Wisgy has been launched by industry veteran Isabel Graham-Yooll and supported by a team of specialist consultants with a mission to enable clients to navigate old and rare spirits with confidence in a rapidly expanding and sometimes bewildering market.

The Wisgy team has decades of experience in building relationships with producers, traders, dealers, collectors and retailers and is set to provide a previously unavailable level of independent and trusted expertise.

The suite of specialist services curated by Wisgy includes:

Isabel Graham-Yooll has worked for many years in the booming secondary market for spirits and wines, most recently as director of Whisky.Auction where she championed the interests of the consumer against fraudsters and fakers, making the award winning auction the most trusted specialist online spirits auction in the world. She is an acknowledged expert in her field.

Isabel started her career at Oddbins (UK wine merchant) before joining Jeroboams selling wine to private clients, she then became spirits buyer for the famous Milroy’s of Soho shop founded by Jack and Wallace Milroy. 

Isabel was responsible for a series of acclaimed and award-winning bottlings (which now command a high price among collectors) before moving to Bordeaux Index as Spirits Buyer. 

In 2024 Isabel launched  Wisgy, an independently run old and rare spirits consultancy.

The learnings, expertise and trusted relationships developed throughout Isabel's unique career path through these significant drinks-industry institutions  has perfectly equipped her to launch the new Wisgy service.

During her career Isabel has built up strong and enduring relationships with leading practitioners and specialists in the field of old and rare whiskies and spirits ranging from distillers and collectors to crime agencies and fraud specialists. As a result she is now able to call on a highly skilled team of veterans to work directly on client projects.
